Be guided throughout your training with these indispensable resources. Please ensure the following textbooks are required in the Dental Assistant Training curriculum. Students will only need the Modern Dental Assisting textbook 13 th or 14th edition for the Radiology class. Students will need the Modern Dental Assisting  textbook 14 edition and Dental Instrument book for the Expanded Function, Orthodontic, and General Chairside Dental Assisting classes.
