Maryland and Washington DC Dental assistant must renew their radiology license every 2 years by taking a 8 hours of dental continuing education class , 4 hours of which are on the subject radiation safety, and complete a 2-hour course on infection control. This course includes both 8 hours radiology and 2 hour infection control to make student eligible for their license renewal. Course instructors are highly qualified and experienced individuals who have extensive backgrounds in training dental radiology.
