Maryland and Washington, DC, Dental assistant must renew their radiology license every 2 years by taking an 10 hour dental continuing education class, 4 hours must be on radiation safety, and completing a 3-hour course on infection control. Course instructors are highly qualified and experienced individuals who have extensive backgrounds in training in dental radiology. This class must be taken face-to-face with an instructor; you must complete an online exam to ensure you understand past and new information. If you do not pass the exam, we will take the time to teach you what you don't know before you retake the quiz.
